Living Alongside Grief

This space holds the writing I’ve created while living with grief. Some of it is reflection. Some of it is naming things people don’t always say out loud. Some of it is simply a place to pause for a moment when everything feels heavier than usual. I write from lived experience — not because I have answers, but because I know what it’s like to keep moving through life after loss, and to want words that feel honest while you do. Disclaimer: The reflections shared here come from lived experience. I am not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical professional, and this content is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or crisis support.

The Heart 2 Help Circle

A private space for people living with grief and the long aftermath of loss.

The Circle is a quieter extension of my writing — a place for those who live with grief to gather without needing to explain it.

It isn’t a program.

It isn’t a place to fix anything.

It isn’t built around constant sharing.

It’s simply a space to sit inside what’s real, alongside others who understand what it means to keep living after loss.

Inside the Circle:

You’ll find:

• reflections I don’t always share publicly

• grounded pieces created from lived experience

• quiet connection with others carrying similar weight

Some members share openly.

Some read quietly.

Both belong here.

Who Holds the Space

The Circle is held by Emily Racette.

I write and speak from lived experience with grief, and this space follows that same steady, honest tone. Nothing here asks you to perform, process, or move forward before you’re ready.
